Leise wins «interior innovation award»

From January 16th to 22nd, 2006, Leise exhibited for the first time at the "imm cologne", the International Furniture Fair in Cologne. An intensive week with many new contacts, enormous press coverage and, last but not least, winning the "interior innovation award cologne 2006" in the "best system" category.

Elke Becker writes in the “hit guide imm cologne” about the Leise collection:

Colorful Rubik's Cubes

Has reinvented storage space: Knut Völzke. His objects are little magicians and a creative challenge on top of that. Because they have no up or down, they can be transformed into the most "weird" spatial objects. Julies can be a lowboard, coffee table, laundry box, bedside table or side table. They are also enchantingly versatile as a stool or bench. There are also the May and MayMay lid elements, which perfectly complement the new storage space experts. The magic cubes consist of a fine stick plate made especially for this collection from local softwood, which is covered on both sides with high-quality, colored laminate. A process developed by Leise makes it possible for the first time to process this material visibly on the edges. (Elke Becker / hit guide imm cologne 2006 / page 61)
