Design Germany 2010
The Leise Design Studio designed and implemented the German Design Council's "Design Germany" format, which was conceived as a traveling exhibition for the first time. The requirement was for an exhibition system that was suitable for travel and fully electrified, but which did not formally emphasize these pragmatic properties.
A representative overview of current products from German manufacturers and designers was presented at the two exhibition venues in Milan and New York. The spectrum of established brands and products was supplemented by a selection of prototypes from selected young designers.
The design of the exhibition played with the system character that is so characteristic of German design and translated it into a new, exciting and vibrantly colored architectural landscape that could be associated with the German national colors.
Based on just one basic structural module, its diverse combination resulted in campus-like spatial situations on several levels that opened up unexpected viewing angles and perspectives.

The multi-story, campus-like architectural landscape provided a view of usually hidden details on the undersides of the products.

In addition to the product presentation, the exhibition concept was characterized by an accompanying acoustic and typographic level. Song titles by contemporary German pop musicians accompanied the exhibition event on banners and over loudspeakers.

After the first stop in Milan, the exhibition was shipped to New York and presented there at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) from 15 to 18 May 2010.
