May, August, Julies. Furniture without designated top and bottom. Seven separate colours bonded with a unique material.
The versatility of the design, the formal simplicity and the exclusive craftwork make up the unmistakable characteristics of the Leise Kollektion. It has won several international design awards and is produced with high quality craftsmanship in Germany.
All products are created from an exclusively manufactured, fine lamin board out of native coniferous wood, coated with a satin finished, coloured laminate on both sides. A process developed by Leise makes it possible to expose the raw material along the edges for the first time. The monochrome colour of the surface combined with the natural grain along the polished wood edges underline the unique character of the objects.

Generally we perceive furniture as: table, chair, shelf, cupboard. The furniture of the Leise Kollektion eludes itself from common categories and can be a magazine rack, low board, night stand or sofa table, as well as media furniture, storage, side table, stool, linen container or bench, according to the desired use. The furniture's clarity is not disturbed by any grip hole, fitting or complicated mechanism. Thus pieces reduced in their complexity come into being, which - depending on their use - are more functional furniture or more object.
To some beholder, the Leise Kollektion must appear as a compilation of colour and material samples. The Leise Kollektion's material shows its composition obviously: On the inside, the finely processed, custom-built lamin board with its distinctive cap timber and the visibly displayed cross-lengths of wood. The surfaces coated with a resistant satin finished, coloured laminate. Furniture as an understatement of its high quality. Formally restrained, they appear self-confident in their seven colours at once: the shade of white not cold, the beige sandy, lilac, red and blue uncompromisingly intense, a warm grey and finally – more than just brown – a rich shade of mokka.
May and MayMay can be combined with the Julies: the tray becomes a lid and turns the small storage into a container. May can be stuck and shifted on the Julies, several Mays can close the box entirely and create a new kind of storage furniture.
August finally is breaking ranks. It's a solitaire, a small cube as a rack or a platform. Useful, but still abstract.
Furniture as objects – objects for use.
